| How should I start ? Eat 1 teaspoon every night – 30 mins before your bedtime. Kaiben will remove your sleep debt – but you want to be ready to sleep when it starts. Eating in the day can make you want to sleep and that can hamper your daily operations. |
| How long does oil last? Within 6 weeks the oil loses 90% of its efficacy – with or without refrigeration. See the graph in the appendix section. |
| When and how do you make Kaiben ? The oil is made on Tuesday and Friday of the week. Cleaned hempseeds are sifted again one last time before being measured in a ratio with flaxseeds. This ratio decides the composition of the omegas in the final product. Once pressed, the oil will be sealed and it will sit for 12-24 hours so sedimentation can happen. Now the oil will be bottled into bottles and immediately sealed for shipment. |

| If Kaiben is hempseed oil, then what is HEMP OIL ? Oil made from seeds is called hempseed oil. Oil made from the other parts of the plant – the stems, stalks, leaves and (sometimes) flowers – is called hemp oil. Oil from the seed does not carry any cannabinoids. However if not cleaned well – the seeds will carry dry leaves, flowers and dust which will carry psychoactive compounds. |
| What is CBD oil ? CBD is a cannabinoid. Nothing to get excited about – cloves and broccoli have cannabinoids. They are harmless – unless consumed in excess. No one eats 10 cloves together do they ? Don’t try it – you’ll have to be taken to the hospital. Oil that carries cannabinoids – that is often called CBD oil – to indicate there are cannabinoids in the oil. Hempseed oil on the other hand – is just good food ! (though the ratio of omegas in hempseed is not enough to reach the golden ratio range. Which is why Kaiben has flaxseed added in the seedmix) |

| How do you ensure seed quality? The seeds are cleaned by hand at 2 places in the production chain. Sameer then visually inspects the seed stock. Every pressing is done in the presence of a concerned human. And each batch of oil is tasted before bottling. |
| Have you ever had any contamination? Yes. In the first year of Kaiben – a training error led to a massively contaminated product. We lost our top patrons. No other batch of Kaiben has been contaminated since then. |
